Duets

 

From A Different Place is a one-act play within which two women explore the nature of their relationship below the surface of circumstances that initially seem to have brought them together, living very different lives after having briefly been college roommates, what appears to be the reaching out of an abused wife who is seeking shelter and solace from an old friend progresses toward a dual revelation of the differences between them and an isolated understanding of the nature of adult dysfunction as drawn forward from prolonged childhood distress and neglect.
